Change in Board of Management of HORNBACH-Baumarkt-AG
Bornheim bei Landau, March 11, 2013.
Marketing Director Jürgen Schröcker today notified Albrecht Hornbach,
Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Dr. Wolfgang Rupf, Chairman of the
Personnel Committee of the company’s Supervisory Board, that he would like
to tackle new professional challenges upon the expiry of his management
board contract at the end of 2013. Until this date, Jürgen Schröcker will
be available to assist Steffen Hornbach, Chairman of the Board of
Management of HORNBACH-Baumarkt-AG, Albrecht Hornbach, Supervisory Board
Chairman, and Dr. Wolfgang Rupf, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Audit
Committee, in an advisory capacity. Jürgen Schröcker will stand down from
his position on the Board of Management of HORNBACH-Baumarkt-AG as of March
31, 2013.
Steffen Hornbach will assume management board responsibility for marketing
from April 1, 2013.
The Board of Management and Supervisory Board of HORNBACH-Baumarkt-AG would
like to thank Jürgen Schröcker for the dedicated, successful contribution
he has made over almost 15 years. He played a key role in boosting the
HORNBACH brand. We wish him all the very best for the future, both
personally and in his further career.
